Dr Alec Mahwendepi - General Practitioner Dr Alec has over 20 years working on the medical coalface. He worked in busy referral hospitals in Southern Africa before transitioning into General Practice where his passion really thrives. He loves looking after the patient holistically. You will find him as easy going, while going the extra mile to give medical advice which advances the whole person’s wellness. He has over 15 years in general practice. In Australia he has over 10 years of continuously working in general practice. He worked at Dunmunkle Health in Murtoa, Minyip and Rupanyip in Western Victoria. He moved to Primary Medical and Dental in Melton where he has been until now. He loves working with people with keen interest to see people enjoy quality health. Current Hours: Mon, Wed, & Fri ................ 9am to 3:30pm Tues, & Thurs .................... 3:30pm to 10pm Saturday ............... 2pm to 9pm | |
Jessica Pease - Dietitian Jessica is a university qualified and empathetic dietitian with an interest in the link between the mind and gut. If you are are overweight, suffering from migraine, depression, mood disorders, and have ruled out other medical causes, come and have a chat with Jessica. Jessica uses modern health technology to assist in collecting all the right information, and makes sure you leave with a clear pathway at the end of the chat. Jessica can also provide nutrition services to children, those with a Medicare-funded GP referral and those in the NDIS. |

Cynthia Mahwendepi - Senior Nurse Cynthia has over 20 years medical industry experience. She is versatile, having started her medical industry career as Medical Laboratory Technologist before changing to nursing as she felt she needed to make a direct interaction of patients, not their samples. She trained at Ballarat University and she has had roles from hospital nursing, aged care and general practice. She will currently be available for 2 hours between 12 pm to 2 pm during weekdays. |
Dr Kenneth Ugwu MBBS, Dip Derm, FRACGP, MMed (Skin cancer) ***CURRENTLY ACCEPTING WALK-INS*** Dr Kenneth Ugwu graduated from the University of Nigeria in 2000 and has been practising in Australia since 2014. Kenneth enjoys all aspects of general medicine but is particularly passionate about Skin Cancer Medicine, procedural practice and Children's health. His background extends into General Surgery and Trauma with experience in Emergency Medicine. Dr Ugwu has been practising Skin Cancer Medicine since 2014 and has recently completed his Masters in Skin Cancer Medicine at the University of Queensland. JOINED Hallets 1st JUNE 2023.
